Cheryl Foss, MSW an Executive Coach, has over 25 years of Coaching, Leadership Development, Team Development, Strategy Development, Organization Design, and Change Management experience. She integrates her extensive experience and deep knowledge in these areas to elevate leaders’ performance in complex systems, increase ability to improve connection, deepen communication, increase collaboration, build high performing-teams, and align strategy, structure and culture enabling leaders to achieve unsurpassed results.
Cheryl describes her coaching philosophy as an inside – out approach. Focusing on increasing self-awareness and awareness of others which helps leaders obtain more power to influence outcomes, become better decision-makers and increase their impact. She has a proven track record of working with and developing, C-level executives, physician leaders, nurse leaders and Boards of Directors.
Cheryl has deep experience in healthcare as well as significant experience across other industries. She has coached many leaders in their integration efforts after a merger or acquisition and unwinding from one system to join another. She is a frequent author and speaker on a variety of leadership topics to help build individual, team and organizational competency. In addition, she is a mentor and helps develop other coaches new to the field.
Cheryl graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with her Masters in Clinical Social Work specializing in the work environment. She also received her Bachelors in Business Administration specializing in Management/Leadership Development from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Hogan Assessment and specializes in many other assessments in her coaching work. She is a voracious reader and regularly strengthens her skill set through engaging in continuous learning opportunities.
