Delanor Doyle, MD, MBA, FACEP
Dr. Delanor Doyle has spent his career at the intersection of clinical care, organizational strategy, and systems leadership — rich, firsthand experience he brings into each coaching engagement. After more than two decades as a physician executive, he now partners with healthcare leaders who are navigating complex changes that don’t come with a playbook.
He has led across payer, provider, and academic settings, most recently as Chief Medical Officer of Texas Health Aetna. In those roles, he managed crisis response, drove large-scale transformation, and advised senior executives under real constraints and with real stakes. That experience informs everything about how Del coaches.
Clients describe Del as empathetic, insightful, curious, and grounded — someone who asks the right questions and helps leaders uncover new insights and pathways forward. His coaching centers on helping leaders become more intentional and emotionally intelligent: clearer about their priorities, more effective in execution, and better equipped to lead teams through uncertainty, change, and the moments that test their resilience. He is particularly well suited for physician executives and C-suite leaders working through organizational transformation or the shift from clinical identity to enterprise leadership.
Del earned his MD from Morehouse School of Medicine and his MBA from Mercer University. He is a board-certified emergency physician, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Hudson Institute Certified Coach.
