Jonathon Rosenthal, MD
Executive Coach
Dr. Rosenthal’s career as an anesthesiologist has spanned three decades. He has held numerous leadership roles in the hospital and anesthesia practice groups. His experience has also included hospital contracting, operations, policy and procedure, as well as recruitment and retention of personnel. Dr. Rosenthal has been central to the merger of several anesthesia groups. Most recently, he was the medical director of a highly-ranked surgical center in North County, San Diego, where he helped cultivate a collegial and collaborative environment anchored in trust and communication; his efforts were always directed at optimizing patient care. Dr. Rosenthal has additionally enjoyed working in business development in both the biotech and medical device industries.
Dr. Rosenthal received his certification as an Executive Coach from the Hudson Institute. He has enjoyed calling upon his experience as a physician leader to assist new and established leaders navigate the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare.
Dr. Rosenthal resides in North County, San Diego, with his wife. He is an avid tennis player, cyclist, and backcountry skier. He came to surfing somewhat later in life and continues to be a work in progress.
